Governor’s Club in Chapel Hill, NC Wedding Film: Jessie and Brad

This Governor’s Club wedding was very special as our groom, Brad, was recently given the phenomenal news that he had won a huge battle with …the “c” word. His gorgeous bride, Jessie, was by his side the entire way and it was clear from the minute we met them both that they were an incredible couple.

Bride’s Review

At first I was skeptical about having a wedding video made because I had this mental image of the old-fashioned, home made wedding video, taken by your drunk cousin with his $50 video recorder. My maid of honor talked me into thinking about hiring a professional videographer, and wow, am I grateful that she did!

My wedding planner recommended Oak City Films. Ashley and Nathan showed up on time and on location. They were both friendly and very professional; they managed to capture all those little special moments without being intrusive. I also had a couple professional photographers there from a different company, and Ashley and Nathan worked with/around them seamlessly and without issue. I didn’t give them any guidelines, but I know they would be receptive to any specific things that a client wants or doesn’t want in their video.

Our final product is breathtaking. I cried (again) and so have many of our family and friends. I cannot give enough praise — if you go with Oak City Films, you won’t regret it! — Jessie

There wedding went off without a hitch and was stunningly beautiful thanks in part to the amazing vendor team assembled by planner Kelley Ann at A Southern Soiree. We especially appreciated working with Azul Photography, and Perry Hardison. We also can’t end this post without mentioning the incredible Shakedown band who did a phenomenal job keeping everyone dancing throughout the night.
