State Club Wedding: Caitlyn and John

Caitlyn and John began their wedding day at the new StateView Hotel on NC State’s amazing centennial campus just beside the Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center at NC State University. After they had both finished prepping for their big day, the bride shared a magical moment with a first look with her father, and then her groom.

Through the breaks in the rain clouds, they made their way to Hayes Barton United Methodist Church to begin their ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony, Caitlyn and John took some time to take photos with all their family members with Nancy Ray Photography, and to get some heartwarming shots with each other.

They then got on the Raleigh Trolley and headed to their reception at The State Club, but not before stopping to get some photos with their adorable little pup, Beasley. Once they arrived, they shared their first dance together. Caitlyn’s stepfather, Sherwin then serenaded everyone in the room while mothers, fathers, and every family member in-between enjoyed a dance together. For the rest of the night, everyone danced to one of the couple’s favorite bands, The Band of Oz. After a day filled with memories, they had a sparkler send-off and departed in a classic Rolls Royce.
